Sustainable mobility in car-dependent regions

29 August – 5 September 2024, Bari (Italy)

From August 29 to September 5, 2024, immerse yourself in a comprehensive one-week program designed to address the challenges of urban mobility in car-dependent regions. Receive top-notch instruction from leading academics and practitioners through stimulating lectures, panel discussions, and group work. You will work on real-world cases to develop sustainable urban mobility solutions to reduce car-dependency, reflecting on intermodal mobility, transport planning, and active travel, among others. Additionally, gain insight into the educational opportunities offered by the EIT Urban Mobility Master School, building a career as a mobility expert

While early bird applications are available until July 10, 2024 (to benefit from the early bird participant fee of €700), we recommend applying ASAP due to limited seats available for this summer school.

The participant fee includes accommodation in a shared (double occupancy) room for eight nights, all weekday breakfasts and lunches, selected dinners, and social activities (including a bike tour in Bari, an Italian food night, and excursions to Castel del Monte and Parco Nazionale Alta Murgia, and to Polignano a Mare). Further discounted rates are available for qualifying participants from selected countries and emerging economies. Lower rates are available for those not needing accommodation.
